Bathroom Upgrade
The bathroom upgrade you can actually take with you when you move
There is a particular kind of restraint you develop after a few years of renting. You stop imagining improvements. Anything you would like to change is either not allowed, not worth the cost, or something you would be leaving behind for a landlord you have never met.
So you live with the bathroom. Most renters do.
That is why this upgrade is worth knowing about. It is something you own, you can fit yourself, and you can remove and take with you.
What it is
Zevlor™ is a non electric bidet attachment. A slim plate sits between the toilet pan and the seat that is already there. It connects to the same water line that fills the cistern, while a side control lets you adjust the pressure.
It has two wash settings, one for rear cleansing and one for frontal cleansing. The nozzles retract behind a guard when they are not being used. There is no cord, no battery and no need for a power point beside the toilet.
Why it clears the renting hurdles
Nothing is drilled
No new holes, no cut tiles and no permanent change to the bathroom.
No electrical work
It is powered by water pressure, so there is no cable, battery or nearby socket.
It is reversible
Disconnect it, refit the original seat and leave the bathroom as you found it.
It moves with you
Take it to the next home and check that the new toilet has an accessible inlet.
Everything else I wanted to improve in a rental felt as though I was buying it for the landlord.
The ten minute part
Installation is the part many people feel most uncertain about before ordering. The basic sequence is simple. Turn off the water at the wall, connect the supplied fitting, position the attachment beneath the seat and turn the water back on.
One verified buyer described it plainly: “My husband installed the bidet on the toilet in 10 minutes. All the installation parts are included in the kit.”

Check these two things before you order
Your cistern connection. Look behind the toilet. You need a visible water inlet at the side or base of the cistern with an accessible shut off valve. When the plumbing disappears into the wall with no accessible connection, this style of attachment may not suit that bathroom.
The water is not heated. It runs at mains temperature because there is no electrical heating element. Begin with a low pressure setting and follow the product instructions during use.
A note on the rental bond
The appeal for renters is that the attachment is intended to be removable. At the end of the lease, disconnect it and return the toilet to its original setup. Rental agreements can differ, so check the wording of your agreement or ask the agent when you are uncertain.
Readers have asked
The questions that come up most often, answered plainly.
Do I need to ask my landlord or agent?
The attachment does not require drilling or cutting. Rental agreements still vary, so check your agreement or send a quick note to the agent when you are unsure.
What if the next place has a different toilet?
Before moving it, check that the new toilet has enough space beneath the seat and an accessible cistern inlet with a shut off valve.
How long does installation take?
Buyer feedback in the supplied source describes installation in about ten minutes. Allow extra time for checking the fittings, reading the instructions and testing for leaks.
Is the water heated?
No. It uses the existing cold water supply and does not require an electrical outlet.
What happens when I move out?
Turn off the water, disconnect the attachment and return the original toilet setup. Keep the supplied parts and instructions together so the unit is easy to reinstall later.
